At Renaissance Orlando Resort at Disney Springs®, culinary creativity is always on the front burner—and this week, our team brought that spirit straight to the CFHLA Ultimate Chef Challenge.
They showcased the Lechón Asado Style Pork Belly featuring an arrowroot purée, plantain foam, and pork wine dust. A bold take on elevated comfort food, inspired by Puerto Rican flavors and crafted with precision and passion.
As guests flowed through the event space, the dish quickly became a fan favorite—flying off the table as fast as it could be plated. The balance of tradition and innovation was unmistakable, a hallmark of what guests can expect every day at American Kitchen Bar & Grill.
But this competition was about more than just plating and presentation. It was about celebrating the hospitality industry, supporting local chefs, and connecting with the community through food.
Back at the resort, American Kitchen continues to serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails with a creative touch—from smoked bacon on a clothesline to regionally inspired cocktails like the Sea Foam Margarita.
